A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

This past Saturday on No Kings Day, I was able to make my voice heard like millions of other voices throughout this country. Here are the two signs that I had, and the 3rd sign was made by a young lady and her son. At one point, she and her son needed to take a break, so I offered to hold her sign😀
