How do you 'end working from home'? My employer doesn't have an office, my contract is remote first.

Is he going to force businesses into expensive rents and laying off remote workers employed because they're the best qualified not because of location?

Chinese... US, German and French carmakers. And what is the alternative? A weaker ZEV mandate which allows UK manufacturing to languish further? This is a result of the flexibilities the automotive lobby (not including the Chinese!) pushed for.

Given the last time rooftop solar surged to that kind of level was due to the Feed-in-Tariff introduced by Miliband in his first stint as Energy SoS, I think it would be totally fair for his team to start trying to call this 'The Ed Effect'.

well... there's no getting past it being a bad signal and this is data won't show that impact. But it is hard to imagine any automotive businesses significantly changing where they focus R&D and manufacturing capability based on a 10% bit of wriggle room.
