Thinking about le boycott. We can't just expect people to ditch American products where there isn't something of the same quality and no more expensive which isn't American. iPhones? Choose Samsung. Airbnb? Choose booking dot com. Hopefully EU governments will encourage competitors for the others.

I note that it is being said that the cabinet is now formed solely of state school pupils. That's not quite true, as Starmer and Lammy had public school scholarships, but compare with Reform. Three of the five MPs are public school educated. So much for Reform being the party for the working class.
