Last three years the Jets have had either 5 or 6 hat tricks in a season.

They could have two in two games if 55 can find the back of the net.

Most ever was 8 in 2018-19.

Not shorthanded but Winnipeg sure is showing they are hungry when a man short. When they scored Connor was out of the box.

Adrian Kempe made a heck of a play in the neutral zone to almost alley-oop the puck into the Jets zone and then he finished off the fantastic sequence by the Kings to give his side a 2-1 lead.

I thought the puck hit one of the players and redirected past Connor Hellebuyck but either way Kings tie it early in the 2nd.

We knew Morgan Barron wasn’t gonna do it but Luke Schenn doesn’t know Jeff Malott and the former Jet/Moose and the current Jet drop the gloves after a solid hit by Logan Stanley on Alex Turcotte.

Brayden Yager’s dad was in the building and after the Jets prospect scored his first goal as a pro in his first game he was able to share it with him.

What a great moment for them.

He’s named 1st Star of the Game as the Moose open the season with a 4-1 win.
