Sitting on my back porch carving a new walking stick while listening to the wind, birds, purring kitties and snoring pups. This may be overly ambitious. I've sold several hand painted sticks but carving and adding gemstones is a new experience.

Courtesy of whatever has been enjoying the seeds I've been putting out in my bird feeder. I counted 14 buds from top to bottom. Is this normal for a sunflower??? 🌻

5 days in Ohio. Found some great used book stores, saw some new exhibits at the RRHOF, found some treasures & met lots of great people at the Time Travelers Vintage Expo, visited the museum at Kent State and walked the campus (that was a rough one 🥺😢) and ended with a tour of Ohio State Reformatory.

5 days in Ohio. Poppies are starting to bloom. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with these things. They are beautiful but the downside is the short bloom time plus they are highly invasive. I started with three small plants and now I could start my own Wizard of Oz poppy field.

Annual spring egg hunt for the pups 🩷 Lily was hunting in a different part of the yard so we could keep the game civil 😂
Over his 14 years, Mi has become a pro at tracking down treats and cracking open the eggs 😆 I love watching him get all bouncy & happy when he spots them 🥰🐶

It's still chilly here on the east coast. Mother Nature fooled us with a couple of 70° days which were lovely but not normal for March. Flannels are so comfy and versatile, even in the warmer weather. Check out our shop for more. ☮️

Watching Burt Sugarman's Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack on YT. This brings back so many good memories from way back. At a young age, I discovered that there was always a perfect band with a perfect song to fit whatever mood I was feeling at the time.
