I'll randomly remember Threads exists, hop on and immediately realize my feed is all age-related engagement bait. Every post begins with something like "I'm in my late 30s and..."

It feels like "Oops! All Algorithm" but it's only using your location and age data.

The scent combination of books + coffee is like a steroid for creativity.

If I could achieve a proper concentration of it in my apartment, you'd be looking at a post of a drawing instead of this text.

The millennial experience is growing up with the internet, and watching it go from a free, open, democratic, and eclectic ecosystem to a wasteland of five websites controlled by billionaires, and now seeing it quickly fill up with AI-generated slop.

I want our World Wide Web back.
