Cartoon: If anyone in Chicago knows this school or an anti ICE organization affiliated with them I would be happy to donate this art. I only wish I could have fully Sal Buscema-ed that punch :)

Happy Sam va lentin, to all who celebrate!
So, every February 14th since 2011 on Spain we share this meme of The lord of the Rings and different versions to celebrate Valentine's Day.
It's "San Valentín" in Spanish so it sounds very similar to "Sam va lentín" (Sam walks slowly). Even Sean Astin noticed us so it's special to us! ❤️

So AI is

- A zero-profit money sinkhole
- Slowing down workers who have to keep fixing its hallucinations
- Filling the internet with lies and deception
- Fighting creativity
- Ruining the customer tech market
- Killing open source software
- Destroying education

But for some reason we "need" it?
Sora 2 apparently cost something like $5 billion to run every year and so far made OpenAI around $1.4 million.

In Cordoba. Beautiful old town! The storms were bad here, and one poor guy was missing his entire roof!

I love how cities in hot climates come to life after sunset! Okay, so it's been cold and rainy here... must be habit.

Also, If you've ever wondered what Don Miguel de Cervantes looks like from behind...

Age verification?

When I was born, the only thing in orbit around the Earth was the Moon.
Age verification?

We used to have to look up the phone number for the police, fire, or ambulance in the phone book, because it wasn’t 911. They each just had a phone number. They were on the first page or the inside front cover.
Age verification?

I brought my Game Boy on a car trip at night, and kept having to pause the game til we reached the next streetlamp or traffic light in order to see the screen well enough to play it

on anti-AI stances as "privilege".

it feels weirdly important to note that many defensive takes do not analyze stories about how workers from Kenya to Columbia have been forced into a digital underclass:
