If, like me, you’re one of the lucky ones who’s never met Sir Pounce before today, prepare to watch this lethal muppet a dozen times.

Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
"It is against the TOS to be talked into suicide by our LLM" is possibly the most evil tech bro thing I've ever read
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Perfect single color piechart.
What are the odds that these ICE folks who can’t risk unmasking now were complaining endlessly about having to wear a mask during the peak of COVID?

the problem with modern fantasy movies is that they stopped having bizarre plot detours where the hero encounters a fucked-up practical effect creature with a crazy rule like "you can't make any sounds around this thing or it turns you into glass" that exist only to traumatize 8-year-olds

Fun fact: Artists have always been able to draw and sculpt naturalistic figures. When we see paintings from ancient Egypt or the Middle Ages with a schematic and simplified style, it's due to stylistic and religious trends. These trends were less common when depicting animals.

The man’s shtick is very much submerged “How many (substandard/useless-eater) Americans can I kill?” stuff. (The subtext being “It’s for their own good. Weed out the weak. Make America Leaner & Meaner.” And also an unmistakeable soupçon of “Fuck their feelings.”) 😡

UK politics is insane to me because every time I tune in even 1% to keep appraised of what's happening there the headlines are all like "GOVERNMENT MAKES IT ILLEGAL TO WATCH KISSING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE TO PROTECT WOMEN AND GIRLS" and then in tiny font underneath "NHS budget cut by 75% next year"

Saying goodbye to a dearly loved friend,
Surrounded by her favorite treats and toys.
Giving her to the Sky on this cold afternoon.
Ceremony is important.
Love is important.
Farewell.

Is it just me, or is it really weird that the screw-in part of him lights up and the bulb part of him doesn't?
