Vital Cat Update
It’s time to talk about my cat. To which you might be saying, “Chuck, I didn’t know you had a cat!” and I’d respond with, “I didn’t know I had a cat either…

Cartoon: A beefcake Krampus, after the style of Ralf Konig. Mr Konig has become one of my 'go to' when I start thinking cartoon beefacke. He's just hilarious to me.

Has anyone written up a version of the Heisenberg principle for cats? It seems like some days if I hear one of our cats singing, as soon as I look their way they have to stop and leave the room. Like I'm not allowed to view them in that state so observing them forces them to change.

We humbly welcome a charming fantasy adventure movie from the co-writer of Paddington 2, especially when elvish Nicola Coughlin is also there:

If you know the story I also kinda wish Urvon's ending upon the convicted felon. It's about as horrible a death as anyone could get and I feel a little bad thinking it but I accept my imperfection as a human.

One of my comfort books are the Belgarion and Mallorean series by the Eddings (bear with me). In the Mallorean, Urvon, big bad guy, loses his mind to the demon lord Nahaz. In a climactic scene he's fawned over & given garbage which he sees as treasure in his madness. This is donnie to me.

If reincarnation exists I dearly hope to come back as a house cat. The only downside I can see is the necessity of sniffing butts.

One of my fave discoveries when co-curating that exhibit at the Billy Ireland were some truly unhinged early Fletcher Hanks drawings that turned out to be his homework from the W.L. Evans School of Cartooning and Caricature correspondence course.

I'm legitimately happy that there are cartoonists and artists out there whose work amazes and stuns me... who like and respect my work.

And I shouldn't forget all the fans and readers.

That should be enough.

(pause)

That... should... be... enough.

Nuisance. I'm drawing a Christmas cartoon but I just can't get Nosferatu's expression right.
Yes, that's a sentence no one is surprised I'm typing :)

I was really hoping to lie in late this morning. Instead I woke up refreshed well before my 'omg it's late' alarm. Stoopid brain. I've even been getting errands done! Who am I!?
