That's a pretty apt comparison.

It comes down a someone resenting the only people that allow them to have the possibility of winning so much that they actively appeal to people that 99.9% will not help them no matter how much they grovel and appeal to them out of some sense of loser drenched spite.

Basically they are a node in the Shadow Bank system that is only really able to exist due to trust.

The problem with Softbank going insolvent is that its ubiquitousness to the shadow banking network is that a LOT of banks have to 'pop the hood' and start seeing how exposed they were.

If OpenAI were to falter, SoftBank would likely become insolvent.

That single insolvency from SoftBank could be enough to create a worst-case-scenario that was feared in 2008 w/ a seizing up of the Global Economy due to the nature of the Eurodollar System / Shadow Banks.
