I did some data breakdown and found this only happened last week… On the first week of December R2 played more Wham! and Mariah than R1.
It’s very interesting that the “35+ station” Radio 2 plays Kylie Minogue’s new Christmas song XMAS more than Radio 1, while the “younger” Radio 1 plays Last Christmas and All I Want For Christmas Is You more than Radio 2.

I did some data breakdown and found this only happened last week… On the first week of December R2 played more Wham! and Mariah than R1.

As someone who put down my phone during A Sky Full of Stars and returned my wristband after the show… I truly think recording Jonny Buckland and Chris Martin’s performance with Gracie Abrams at a no-phone private show and posing it online is extremely disgraceful.
