The nostalgia for pre-digital TV really hit when I saw that Blippo+ has its own version of Ceefax/Teletext.

I would love to make a ceefax exhibit for a future VCF. Have it display show information like exhibitors, sessions, etc. #VCF

Unpopular opinion, aber ich halte Teletext für ein heutzutage echt unterschätzte Medium. Nirgendwo sonst gibt es so einen schnellen Überblick über die wichtigsten Schlagzeilen, wie auf Seite 100.

Die extrem minimalistischen Überschriften und Artikel sind eine Kunstform für sich🤷‍♂️

We had to code Teletext at school for our IT GCSE back in the day. That looks advanced beyond belief in comparison!!

Ceefax and Teletext. Imagine the internet on your TV but with only 7 colours, and only the most basic amount of interaction over what pages you could access and having to wait 30 seconds between pages as they turned.

Sounds crap? Yeah, but we loved it and many of us used it every single day.
