So, is that a no? You don't have the capability to understand how you're minimizing the racial component by highlighting White people. Either that and you do have the capability and you're doing it on purpose. I would say it's the latter.

You honestly can't see why it's "problematic" to cherry-pick the small number of cases involving White people while ignoring the fact that the vast majority of people affected are people of color? Seriously, you don't see the problem?

I only watch Colbert now and even with him sometimes I tune out. The problem is that if you make light of a really bad situation without being deliberate about it, just end up normalizing the situation or minimizing its seriousness.
