honestly the worst part about comic con (both ny and sd now that i've been to both) is how much it caters to anime shit nowadays. there are already multiple anime conventions in those same areas. i don't go to COMIC con to look at anime

weird the way "crazy cat lady" is an "old crone"/"lonely woman" stereotype as if it's negative & not deeply human since the dawn of time to love a domesticated pet. just as common for people to have a dog they dote on too for companionship and more (killing mice. for dogs, guarding the yard. etc)
