I understand, Britain is much further north than people think. Latitude 54+ here. It's dark when I leave for work and when I go home. It is a pain. But it still doesn't bother me much. It would be dark even if the clocks did not chang. And I do like the extra sun in summer.

Sorry to hear that, it sounds miserable.
I've never noticed any difference, bar a couple of days adjusting to getting up earlier in the spring.

I might be the only one, but I don't mind the clocks changing. I rather like longer days in the summer and definitely like getting up later in the winter when its wet, dark, and miserable.
