Briefly had my containers running on a microk8s cluster. Really interesting stuff, entirely overkill for my tiny infra. Still, as a pentester it's good to keep up with this stuff - makes it easier to find your bearings during an engagement.

Last year's challenge: automate all my home infrastructure so I can run it off containers within VM's.

This year's challenge: host all those containers on my NAS πŸ˜…

I keep telling myself that this is not self-imposed work, it's necessary to keep it maintainable. I think I'm bullshitting myself.

The approach has a semgrep-py feel to it - "here's an cool way to detect interesting stuff, and to share your detections".
