"Democrats should be thinking at least as much about dealing with Trump’s efforts to overturn the election as they are on how to win it. They need to have a plan for the most likely outcome in 2029, when a clearly stolen election has put another unpopular despot back on the throne."
'Trump Has Already Rigged the 2028 Presidential Election': US Defence Insider
Regardless of how people vote, the chances of a Democrat Government coming to power in 2029 is now virtually nil, argues Brynn Tannehill

Happy Saturday, lovelies!

Yesterday was such a huge success.

Tens of thousands rallying in downtown Minneapolis. Hundreds of clergy at MSP airport, Target HQ, & US Bank. More than 650 closed businesses. A prayer service. Community.

Millions supporting around the country and globe.

Minnesota...what we did today...all the actions, all the gatherings, all the protests, all the closed businesses.

It is working. You may not know it now, but it is working.

We keep telling our stories and pushing. Don't give up. Don't let up.

This is not just a photograph, this is a five-year old child named Liam who was used as "bait" in Minnesota and is being cruelly detained. This needs to stop. We must continue to speak out and resist these vicious and extraordinarily harsh policies that make all of us and our children less safe.

I often read the news in the AM, then share on here (with my own thoughts).

I'm sharing less today. There's a lot...everywhere. Both horrific actions by the administration, capitulation by major institutions, and brave and beautiful acts of resistance by everyday citizens.

Did Gavin Newsom really make a "kneepads" joke about Lindsey Graham?

Gurl....
Newsom: "He's an invasive species, Donald Trump. He took over the Republican Party. Lindsey Graham -- I mean, speaking of the kneepads. I'm sorry. This is tough stuff. I don't recognize these people any longer. You think what I'm saying about Trump is tough? How about what Graham said about Trump."

Heck, he got to interview the pastor the church.

Press freedom groups voiced concern over the possibility of Lemon being charged. One DOJ official implied he may still be.

Update from MN:

There is a statewide general strike, and rallies across the state (and nation) tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the temp is going to be -10. Hearty Minnesotans will still rally and gather. If you are from out of state, you need to make sure you keep safe. That goes for everyone, ICE or not.

Go Minnesota, go
today in the reformer — you really can't overstate how ubiquitous anti-ICE actions are in the twin cities right now
Businesses are posting signs on their doors telling ICE to keep out. Observers are visible outside of restaurants, stores and schools. "Upstander" trainings are reaching capacity — and so are neighborhood signal chats.

In the Twin Cities, the resistance is everywhere.
