I finally got some seeds in the ground today: sunflowers, zucchini, butternut squash, and roma tomatoes. We're supposed to get some rain tomorrow* so they'll get a nice soak.
Also started my experimenting with my saved echinacea and marigold seeds.

I finally got some seeds in the ground today: sunflowers, zucchini, butternut squash, and roma tomatoes. We're supposed to get some rain tomorrow* so they'll get a nice soak.
Also started my experimenting with my saved echinacea and marigold seeds.

Very interesting thread. I don't know why I never think of things like this, because it's not like capitalism has ever changed, and it's not like human behavior has ever changed, either. At the end of the day, it should be absolutely mandatory to disclose EXACTLY what is in your food.
So this is exactly what I mean. Not trying to dump on this specific person, but the idea that “bread” 100 years ago was pristine wheat and yeast is just not true.

raining once again and will rain all day. my trees arrived yesterday. i'm so frustrated i could cry.
I posted this and then it immediately started raining for the next 10 days. It took the remaining days for it to dry out and then become the weekend, so I FINALLY got outside today 😩🥰
It's crazy how the bad vibes melt away with those first warm days in the spring and when I get my hands in the dirt.

I unfortunately love House and Cuddy at the stage where they're not actually together and are so toxic for each other. I know they get together and I'm sure the show is going to annoy me greatly but for now I will enjoy them being awful.

The strawberries are coming up! 🍓 There were some runaways who escaped containment of the fence so I transplanted them into that bald spot near the side. It was too cold and wet to do anything else outside though.

I don't have hypochondria, but if someone around me IS sick, I immediately feel an extreme surge in anxiety. There's been a stomach bug making its way through my family and it's gotten to the point where I've been anxious for so long that a part of me just wants it over and done with 😞

I can't believe that after all this time my friends haven't realized that the absolute quickest way to make me not want to do something is to pressure me into it, even if it's fun.
