If you were building a Phyrexia Remastered in the same vain as Innistrad/Dominaria/Ravnica Remastered, would you include sets like Dominaria United or the Brothers' War? What about Phyrexians from non-Phyrexia based sets like the Kaldheim Vorinclex?

Calling it now: there'll be a Black uncommon removal spell called 'Roadkill'

EXCELLENT addition to the story today, Chandra's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Also the author clearly has a mother who knows how to lay on a guilt trip

Also Ishikari seems like SUCH a fun character and I hope she gets a card at some point

My takeaways from the Aetherdrift story so far:
- I did not realize Avishkar used to have "unpaid labor" 😬
- Chandra must be VERY humble for Winter to not know what she's been through
- Winter is also much more shortsighted than I thought, I hope someone slaps some sense into him

Uh-oh, it would seem I'm becoming obsessed with Nicol Bolas

Also if you see any hobbyist drone videos of the fires, fucking report them

Those little fuckers make them halt firefighting activities; one of the drones punctured a super scooper plane

Fuck your clout, fuck your tiktok or reels of the front lines

Absolute jackasses

I don't have a ton to give out, but if it would help at all, I'd be happy to send some of my bulk to players who have lost their collections 💔

Whoops building three new Commander decks
(Though in my defense, I'm strictly using cards I already have on hand for all but Alesha, and even then all three are from Secret Lairs so it feels like a waste to not use them)

Just finished my Ramos deck!!! Guile and Zangief are on the docket now :)

I have two predictions for Magic in 2025:
1. Avatar: the Last Airbender will be the mystery UB set
2. Every format will be split in two: one where Universes Beyond is allowed, and one where it isn't. Tournaments for these would be held parallel to each other

So like, why *are* so many Magic players opposed to more modern aesthetics and settings in the game? The Myr have been around since 2003, and there's been science fiction and horror elements in the game well before that.

I definitely think that, should a certain group not have gotten involved, Aftermath would have been a fairly popular set

Is Standard Selesnya Cats any good?

This was an awesome year for Magic. Even if their aesthetics were lacking, Thunder Junction and Karlov Manor were very fun sets with solid stories. Duskmourn was an unexpected delight. Foundations is one of the best products released and Bloomburrow is easily one of the best sets ever printed.

I'm stuck between Ramos, the newer Alesha, Cleopatra, and Denry Klin for who I want to build my new deck around

Why do so many trans women play Rakdos and/or Grixis?

Just got my Shuffle Up and Play audition in; good luck everyone!!

I was given a new deckbox for Christmas, which means I'll be building a new Commander deck!!! Here's the colors I still have to pick from:

Azorius
Selesnya
Rakdos
Golgari
Esper
Jeskai
Mardu
Abzan
Grixis
Temur
Jund

Let it be known that
A. I do not tolerate AI generated artwork
B. AI generated artwork when used by Magic players.

This game is nothing without its artwork; don't support products trained after the hard work of other people.

Shoutout to the guy who tried to tell me that Bloomburrow would be an unpopular set. Wonder what they're feeling right now

Sorry I've been so inactive lately! Definitely gonna be posting more Magic since I'm much less busy now, and in a better place mentally and physically :)

Those Planeswalkers Guides made me go from completely indifferent to Aetherdrift to being actively excited for it, this set looks like a BLAST

Something I'm unsure on regarding March of the Machine's timeline: a number of the stories as well as the artwork imply that the invasion went on for days, but Chandra and Wrenn's siege against Realmbreaker couldn't have lasted more than a few hours. How long exactly *did* the invasion take?
