The best box I ever opened was my first one, a Core Set 2021, where I got two Ugins, a Lilliana, a Teferi, a Massacre Wurm, and a Tyrant of the Peaks.
So, considering you're paying slightly less than double for a premium set, I'd expect at least 12 cards out of the box to be bangers.

I don't recall the exact place it was discussed on, but this particular piece of art came up where it was confirmed :)

It is confirmed that Bloomburrow denizens retain their animal form when leaving the Plane, size and all! Tunnel Tipster from Murders at Karlov Manor is likely a Bloomburrian as proof of this.
As for the Calamity Beasts, I think they'd simply dissipate, since their forms are tied to the Plane's Magic

I think right now that's Jace and Vraska!

Don't get discouraged; it took three story sets/four Standard sets for the Phyrexians to make their reappearence after the Bolas saga, and it was a year in real time before they truly started making moves. They're still setting up the Omenpath era now

Also they should let me send Winter to the graveyard, if you catch my Aetherdrift

On that last point: fool me once, shame on you, I get it. But surely he's realized that Valgavoth having the Aetherspark AND Loot would just let him expand his reach to all other Planes so that Winter can never truly escape, right?

I'm glad I get to apply this to myself-- last year it felt like EVERYTHING was for me, so it'll be nice to only care about a handful of things from Final Fantasy.

As for why I think Avatar will be the Universes Beyond set: we already know that WotC is doing business with Viacom thanks to the SpongeBob Secret Lair(s?), and AtLA has PLENTY of characters, story beats, and settings to make a complete set out of.

Makes sense, especially when it's a reskin of a beloved world like Ravnica.

But why the animosity for something like New Capenna or Duskmourn, especially when those aren't too different than Avishkar or even technology-age Kamigawa?

Hear me out: Valgavoth, prior to the real Omenpaths, was able to open up doors to other Planes, albeit expending a great amount of energy in the process. Is it possible he was aware of New Phyrexia's existence through Mirran survivors, hence how he reacted to the invasion so swiftly?
