I also made a destruction game with no feedback sfx or vfx for when the player did damage. Some play testers were smacking around things that couldn't be broken because they weren't sure if they were immortal, or just had high health.

The player can stand up from a crouch, putting them through the ceiling of an air vent.
I never tried to stand up because I knew I shouldn't.
