I saw this on IG last night and I don't think people understand that part of route learning is learning the wire and all it's various quirks. I only worked for a dinky little interuban-turned-metro-system and I learned tons of little techniques like this.

I was homeless for six months. Multiple friends of mine died. I drove city buses through the worst of it and no one caring is we lived or died has fundamentally changed my world view. I feel lucky that I only have minor long COVID and the chronic health issues are managable.

Went to the trans health clinic today and out of nowhere the doctor I saw launched into a whole speech about how the clinic has its shit together and there's no way the feds will stop them from treating trans kids regardless of what they do to Medicare/Medicaid.
