yes! this is so important! this is why i say “love you” after each conversation, even if im just going to the next room. one of my biggest fears is something happening to someone i love and them not knowing how i feel.

Tell them how you feel.

Whether it’s a partner, a friend, or a family member.

Whether you’ve known them for five minutes, or your whole life.

Remind them what they mean to you.

We get lost in the stress of it all, and we forget to do that sometimes.

So, let this be your reminder. 💙

The first conflict to arise in Greek mythology was Uranus (Sky) forcing himself upon Gaea (Earth), with effects that would be felt for eons. This is reflected in Jenova’s meteorite striking the Planet at Gaea’s Cliff, still affecting Final Fantasy VII’s plot 2,000 years later.

In 1961, during a well excavation on the island of Mykonos, Greece, archaeologists made a breathtaking discovery-a large terracotta pithos dating back to around 670 BC.

Now proudly displayed in the Mykonos Archaeological Museum, this ancient vase bears the earliest known depiction of the legendary Wooden Horse from the Trojan War.

Intricately carved with vivid scenes, the vase brings to life the epic tale, offering an unparalleled glimpse into early Greek art and storytelling.

This remarkable find not only deepens our understanding of the Trojan War's lasting cultural impact but also showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and mythological imagination of early Greek civilization.

Early Greek mythology was a bit loose, so they had to Titan things up a bit.

Any day that begins with something written by @amalelmohtar.com is a good day. Thanks to whomever posted about this gem for me to discover.
#SundayReading #Booksky
Book cover for Amal El-Mohtar’s the Honey Month. Background is a stylized honeycomb pattern. Central image is a sepia tone sketch. A broad faced flower serves as a sundial and a landing pad for a giant bee dragging pollen like fairy dust. Small on the right is what could be a flame or a lotus flower in the grass. The corners each have ornate scroll work. Oh and a coffee mug sits left adjacent partial out of frame. White with a black book icon and a red banner that reads “Read Banned Books”
