The rest of the world thought you'd crossed that horizon with Columbine but Sandy Hook was another line, another atrocity so awful change should have been inevitable.
I am convinced America crossed an event horizon thirteen years ago, when even the deaths of elementary school aged children at the hands of a monster weren't enough for their government to say "enough is enough". Hard not to think that Americans would rather have their guns over their children.

It's a year since we said goodbye to our best boy. It's been amazing, I've motorbiked from Panama to the Arctic, but under all of it is grief and resilience. We are so lucky to have them ❤️

I’m planning a trip - we’re doing long haul, New Zealand to Europe and we are NOT doing stop overs in the US.
