Earlier this month, ITRE hosted the Drug Impaired Driving Summit in partnership with the NC Governor's Highway Safety Program and NC Conference of District Attorneys. The Summit provided training for NC law enforcement in recognizing and enforcing drug-impaired driving.

Ever wonder why it's so hard to say definitively whether AVs are safe? It's because a lot of times the AV and human-driven crash data isn't directly comparable. A new paper of mine looks into why, and recommends improvements. 1/
