Is the new American dream to leave America ?

Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.

The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/

Call a lie a lie
Gov. Tim Walz: "Thank God we have video, because according to DHS, these seven heroic guys took an onslaught of a battalion against them or something. It's nonsense, people. It's nonsense and it is lies."

I know it’s been said by others many times before, but his supporters don’t care about policy positions they only care about feeling like their side is winning and seeing us upset their proxy for success. The fact his policies hurt all Americans is irrelevant so long as the “liberals” are upset.

Sixteen years ago, the Supreme Court decided that corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, sold-out politicians block progress on all fronts to appease their corporate donors.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

As terrible as you know who is, this couldn’t be happening without the complicity of republican partisans in congress who care more about enriching themselves than prolonging and protecting what so many working class Americans died to protect.

If we want to show the world we have a functioning democracy and rebuild a tiny bit of the trust that diplomacy is built on, we must impeach now. Even an attempt to impeach is worthwhile. It’s irrelevant if it is successful, it’s a demonstration of character.

This is completely fucking unacceptable. Shut this terrorist government down until it stops brutalizing its own citizens.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

Look at what he’s done to us. Lawless gestapo, destruction of constitutional norms, the courts, and the loss of a functional and co-equal branch of government. It is without question he is an acting agent of Putin. Creating a political civil war and eroding faith in once trusted US institutions.
