Alright, I’ve been on here a few days and I think it’s time for an introduction. As character limits are brief, I’ll throw it over into a picture.

Hello all, I’m Holly!

I’m the most at home walking along the forest floor studying species and keying them into iNaturalist. I am a mushroom forager and the spouse of a gourmet mushroom farmer in the PNW. I love folklore of all kinds, I’m an herbalist (mostly for my immediate family and friends), I practice sword fighting techniques (HEMA), and practice Vinyasa Yoga. I’m currently working through a certification in Vinyasa so I can start teaching my local community and those of you who are interested on the inter-webs. I have done many things in my life, like teaching Tribal Pre-K all the way to public 5th grade for roughly six years, but what I am most proud of is being a mother to the goofiest preschooler in the world.

I’m so sick and tired of worrying about my child going to school each day. I’m so sick and tired of worrying about the safety of everyone I love. Of crying for the babies ignored as they perish in genocide.

Two kids perished today while the media covered Kirk. Four kids were shot and two of them are dead.

Violence is not the answer. Pointing fingers is not the answer.

Kids are dying while people I once knew declared on my timeline we should start attacking each other.
