One of the most frustrating things about being in a Writing MFA program at almost 40 yo is having professors who still have audacity to treat you like u r fresh out of ur undergrad & do not know yourself as a person or an artist; and it’s their ‘calling’ to steer u in the ‘right’ direction. Mental.
