I've watched a lot of Powell and Pressburger recently, and I think they're now up next to Obayashi on my favourite director list.

Spotlight on a handful of my favorite matches that are officially available for free on YouTube.

Includes a significant and rare company crossover (in an unusual viewing format).

I'm going to have to save Darejyo for tomorrow because I'm a bit hungover today, and it's the exact kind of thing that will make me overly emotional.

Obviously love that Choco have started doing more regular Darejyo exhibitions at the start of shows.

Great read all the way down, with lots of matches to check out that weren't initially on my radar, and a good analysis on TJPW's current landscape. Lovely thoughts on ageism in wrestling and how it pertains to the 1/1 tag title match as well. Check this out!

Stuart manages to capture my feelings on both TJPW and wrestling “fan”’s opinions of NOAH in one breath, and that’s that I’s appreciates about him.

My first matches of the month for the year is a long one! There's a bunch of stuff I probably won't be getting round to when it's not as cold and dark outside.

If you'd have told me in 2014 that AJ Styles would retire in front a building half full, I'd have said "good to hear TNA's attendances got better then?"

On the Marvelous show today, Rin announced she's retiring on 5/5 at the Yokohama Buntai show. Seems this comeback was always about having a wee run before saying goodbye.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Very behind this Sakuraism adjacent pairing of Mizuki and Uta.

Another Marvelous rookie passed their pro-test today, so we've got two debuting on 5/5 and a third doing their pro-test later this month who is looking to join them.

I go about it all the time, but the difference between the Haru who needed Runa to take part in her documentary thing because she was too nervous to do it alone and the one who was grinning away as she took apart a rookie's arm is amazing.
