It’s still a huge bummer that Borderlands 4 is probably never coming to the Switch 2 even after it sounded to promising. Especially after Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII look and run incredible on the console.

Top artists, songs, and albums for me in January! It’s the first full month with my AirPods so I listened to way more music than usual. I love seeing serious oddities month by month, like how my TADC fansong kick was still going on at the start of the month so those dominated my top songs 🙃

My top new* games from 2025, definitely some excellent releases! Cyberpunk 2077, Donkey Kong Bananza, Silksong, and The Hundred Line were absolute highlights.

I wonder what my game of the year is
I don’t play on my PS4 much anymore, but here’s my top 5 games from this year! Mostly Borderlands and Silksong I played with/streamed for a friend, and since I needed PS+ for a few months I gave the Sly series a play.

9 and a half months of Spotify, 1 and a half months of Apple Music. Presentation for Spotify wrapped kinda sucked, so I’m excited to get a full year of Apple Music next year. This year I definitely didn’t listen to a wider variety of music, mostly just shuffling a couple of my go-to playlists.

I jumped from Spotify to Apple Music in late October, and I’m pleasantly surprised to see a built in monthly recap! It was only five days but here are my top artists for October which, yeah, it mostly tracks.

Everyone’s sharing so I guess I will too. Honestly surprised only two 3DS games made it to 50+ hours.

I finished the main story of Legends Z-A, and for the sake of no spoilers here I am at rank A 🎉
I’m still digging through post-game and side mission stuff, plus completing the Pokédex. It’s a fun game! Not as good as Arceus but really solid.

Hot take: Silksong is easier than Hollow Knight.
While the platforming and enemies/bosses are technically more difficult in Silksong, the tweaks in movement and combat make it easier to manage.

While I had a couple minor things left to actually do, I’m satisfied saying I’ve completed Silksong. I personally liked it more than Hollow Knight, and I can’t wait to see what big updates or DLCs the game gets.

When I first played Hollow Knight, I sat on the bench in Dirtmouth for a few minutes and took in how beautiful the game looked and sounded.
It took many hours, but I finally got that same feeling in Bellhart.

Haven’t posted in a minute, so I figured I’d share the games I’ve completed in 2025 so far! Between few new games I wanted and moving, most of these are replaying some of my favorites. Sonic X Shadow and Sonic Superstars were the first new games I hadn’t played, up until the release of the Switch 2.

Haven’t posted in a minute, so I figured I’d share the games I’ve completed in 2025 so far! Between few new games I wanted and moving, most of these are replaying some of my favorites. Sonic X Shadow and Sonic Superstars were the first new games I hadn’t played, up until the release of the Switch 2.
I never planned to get Cyberpunk 2077, but after hearing great things about the Switch 2 port and that it was all on the cartridge, I decided to get it. I am blown away at how the game looks and runs. And the load times are ridiculously quick. 10/10.
