I wonder what my game of the year is
I don’t play on my PS4 much anymore, but here’s my top 5 games from this year! Mostly Borderlands and Silksong I played with/streamed for a friend, and since I needed PS+ for a few months I gave the Sly series a play.

9 and a half months of Spotify, 1 and a half months of Apple Music. Presentation for Spotify wrapped kinda sucked, so I’m excited to get a full year of Apple Music next year. This year I definitely didn’t listen to a wider variety of music, mostly just shuffling a couple of my go-to playlists.

Genuinely, seeing three new, full albums from some of my favorite bands release within a couple months is pretty exciting.

I jumped from Spotify to Apple Music in late October, and I’m pleasantly surprised to see a built in monthly recap! It was only five days but here are my top artists for October which, yeah, it mostly tracks.

Everyone’s sharing so I guess I will too. Honestly surprised only two 3DS games made it to 50+ hours.

I finished the main story of Legends Z-A, and for the sake of no spoilers here I am at rank A 🎉
I’m still digging through post-game and side mission stuff, plus completing the Pokédex. It’s a fun game! Not as good as Arceus but really solid.

Hot take: Silksong is easier than Hollow Knight.
While the platforming and enemies/bosses are technically more difficult in Silksong, the tweaks in movement and combat make it easier to manage.

While I had a couple minor things left to actually do, I’m satisfied saying I’ve completed Silksong. I personally liked it more than Hollow Knight, and I can’t wait to see what big updates or DLCs the game gets.

When I first played Hollow Knight, I sat on the bench in Dirtmouth for a few minutes and took in how beautiful the game looked and sounded.
It took many hours, but I finally got that same feeling in Bellhart.

Haven’t posted in a minute, so I figured I’d share the games I’ve completed in 2025 so far! Between few new games I wanted and moving, most of these are replaying some of my favorites. Sonic X Shadow and Sonic Superstars were the first new games I hadn’t played, up until the release of the Switch 2.

Haven’t posted in a minute, so I figured I’d share the games I’ve completed in 2025 so far! Between few new games I wanted and moving, most of these are replaying some of my favorites. Sonic X Shadow and Sonic Superstars were the first new games I hadn’t played, up until the release of the Switch 2.
I never planned to get Cyberpunk 2077, but after hearing great things about the Switch 2 port and that it was all on the cartridge, I decided to get it. I am blown away at how the game looks and runs. And the load times are ridiculously quick. 10/10.

*Ok so one is a Kirby DLC, Off is getting an official console port, and I’ve never played XD Gale of Darkness. Still excited though.

After playing several dozen hours of Mario Kart World I decided to play a bit of the first three Mario Kart games and honestly? Mario Kart 64 kinda really sucks as a single player game.
