Ending the day with some delicious local decaf coffee from Columbia Street Roastery and success finding and using a customer support chat to get an order cancel that "couldn't be canceled." Little dogs eating apple slices (no peel) is a sweet sight and a delightful sound.

Right now I'd be ok with Illinois punting them out while the rest of the state secedes from what used to be the USA since it no longer exists or considers the Constitution a governing document.
Since 2019, there has been a movement in many Southern Illinois counties to secede from the state. Referendums on the idea passed in about 30 Illinois counties, prompting lawmakers in Indiana and Iowa to create committees to look into acquiring much of Southern Illinois.

These are tough times to handle for most decent people. If you think you might need therapy to help, please give it a whirl if you can. Or call a mental health hotline if you need to. There's no shame in asking for help coping. Ever. I go to therapy regularly and it helps me in so many ways. 💖

Between all the Bondi hearing awfulness and the dogs escaping when my mother walked down the driveway to the mailbox and getting nearly a half a mile away, even crossing a very busy 4-lane street (!), it has already been a hell of a day.

I'm so happy I've finally entered a phase in my life in which I create art just to please myself and dgaf if anyone else ever even sees it, let alone likes it. It's so much fun!!! Also calming.

If intuit can afford to sponsor the super bowl, and buy congress, they can afford to help lower-income people file their taxes for free. I own a business, so that's not me, but I believe no one with a simple tax return should have to pay a cent to file.

The sad fact is Republicans in Congress (just like a third of them) could end our national Trump dystopian nightmare at literally anytime.
