There have been times where you have lied.
There have been times where you haven't lied.
Does that mean you are a liar, or not a liar ? The black and white question offers a false dilemma. It is not a valid question as you can't generalize one behaviour to the entire person.

So these are your defenders, this imagined group with common ideology, and through your words am I supposed to let this dumbed-down fictional herd run into my brain and force compliance ? No fucking way.

In BC’s Interior, Conservatives got a majority of votes, but over 4 in 10 chose other parties.
First-past-the-post turned that into 90% of seats for one party, erasing voices.
Proportional representation would reflect how people actually vote, not exaggerate our differences.

We are not as divided as our elections make us seem.
First-past-the-post exaggerates differences and hides common ground. It rewards domination, not cooperation.

A faulty generalization is a logical fallacy where a conclusion is drawn about a large group or population based on a small or unrepresentative sample. It essentially involves "jumping to conclusions" without sufficient evidence. Example: anyone who does this even once is a complete idiot.

When a system keeps locking regions into one-party representation, voices are silenced and resentment grows.

This culture of "the best at deceit wins" needs to change. But how do people learn to avoid being deceived? For one, judge behaviour, not the entire person. A person who is generally good still may lie - intentionally or not. And tune into real exchanges with people ... not easily faked ones online.

So how do pathetic sleazebags end up as leaders of countries ? In part because people aren't realizing they have become propoganda parrots instead of critical thinkers.
