The evidence of overt corporate capture by the Big Tech and crypto industries in this administration is staggering.
Big Tech has been reaping the rewards of Trump's lax approach to corporate enforcement.

That might be thanks to the $1.2 BILLION the industry spent on the 2024 election — which includes $22 MILLION to Trump's businesses and $25 MILLION to Trump's inauguration

California bill #AB381 is a commonsense measure that would help to ensure that California taxpayer dollars do not fund egregious abuses like trafficking and forced labor.
California's procurement laws are outdated and toothless against forced labor. AB 381 would fix that—bringing state law in line with federal standards. U.S. Ambassadors + Fresno leaders are urging action. Support the bill. #EndForcedLabor #AB381

The Trump Administration plans to end all ILAB grants, WaPo reports.

Apparently, combating human trafficking, forced labor, and child labor is not in "alignment with agency priorities and national interest."

This will have a devastating global impact on the most vulnerable people.

By limiting due diligence and gutting access to justice, this proposal would allow corporate abuse to continue to run rampant.
