I wish LiveATC.com would just modernize their stack. While it’s not custom hardware deployed or custom voice models. I think a new UI and backend would help a lot.

They advertise the free instance tier, but they never have enough allocations so you can’t create it. I just tried for the first time in December. There’s people talking about this online and there’s also GitHub scripts for auto claiming when when spots free up.

I talked to them in the fall. They’re doing impressive things deploying their own hardware and writing everything from scratch, including the ADS-B decoders. Not a fan of the info poaching, though when we talked.
