Remember to give people a chance if they look like they're around in good faith. Don't squander your time on hateful people.
Don't get distracted from protecting the people you love by people who try to redirect us into wrathful mindsets.

Hey if you're a customer facing worker with a micromanager over you pushing edict some above: Don't put up with speculative criticism of your job performance by managers that leave you in skeleton crew scenarios. It's super unprofessional regardless of the pressure they get from above.

If someone is trying to use speculation, inference and every other non-substantial type of evidence to convince you to hate somebody who is otherwise presenting as reasonable - the accuser is suspect.
Someone with pure intentions wouldn't need to redirect damage to an anonymous account.

Question motives. You are correct to seek more information. If you feel strongly enough to react, maybe reach out to the person being spoken about and try to get `the rest of the context`.

My take?
Filling a job position does not mean the job was done effectively or by the job description. Details, context, nuance all matter, as much as acknowledging reality of when a company you're representing is doing some crap which is without consideration of consequence to others.
