Para ver esto en un marco global - "IMF projects that eliminating post-tax subsidies for the most-polluting energy fuels, such as coal and gasoline, could raise government revenue by $2.9 trillion, while also slashing premature deaths from pollution-related diseases by more than 50 percent."

Vietnam has revoked most of J&J’s patent claims on the TB drug bedaquiline which is a major win for affordable treatment and against patent evergreening. J&J has 90 days to appeal. Lives must come before profits.

In line with the impact of ODA "Savings", this new analysis by ISGlobal www.isglobal.org/documents/d/... . Higher ODA is linked to:
• 23% fewer deaths overall
• 39% fewer deaths in children under five
• HIV/AIDS related deaths drop by 70%
• Malaria deaths drop by 56%
• NTDs drop by 54% /1
Canada's #Budget2025 (which grotesquely frames a $2.7billion cut in international assistance as "Savings", & rather than leading by continuing to give more to global health than "other similar economies" chooses to follow those similar economies despite clear & deadly impacts of their cuts) passes.
