Coby Mayo said he understands trades happen in baseball and it “wouldn’t be a shocker to anybody” to get moved in this sport. But he didn’t allow himself to think too much about it this offseason, instead focusing on getting better and putting himself in a good spot.

Coby Mayo said he’s working at 3rd base “a good bit” right now, but also still some at 1st. He’s open to whatever Orioles want to try with him this spring.
He doesn’t expect it to take long for 3rd to feel normal again.
