Maybe I'm just in a melancholic mood, but I think I've discovered my favourite Italian saying:
"A tavola non s'invecchia"
"one does not grow old at the table"
I feel like this colours my life quite well. Gives me song - or tattoo - ideas heh.

It's really hard for me to rationalise someone's sudden radio silence or mono-syllablic interactions without internalising the blame and assuming it's because I've done something wrong and they now hate me.
Logically I know that isn't the case, but logic rarely wins out over emotions these days.
