I ordered this! I'm hoping the translations hold up. A lot of Chinese literature has bad translations honestly. I wish publishers would put more effort into them.

I always think I'm a weird voice-y writer until I read more Palahniuck. How the fuck he comes up with concepts like "a sex addict who chokes on food in public for attention" is beyond me. Really well written too

Attending Art Center College of Design was formative to me as a writer. That being said, I would not recommend attending that school anymore than I would recommend drinking lava.

Writing first person present tense is always fun because every word processing program thinks you're making a horrible mistake and tries to revert it to past tense

For the record I raw dog ADHD with no medications & have finished multiple manuscripts & am applying to grad school. You don't always /need/ stimulants, so if you can't get them know there's still a path forward.
