Me every time the ball is kicked anywhere 99% of the game: goalie was really rescued by the field on that one

Orange Thief builds all their games with these kinds of features in mind from very early on, so this is well deserved!
We're very happy with this nomination for Lolife kicking off the #Playdate awards season! Thinking about accessibility helped us make a better game in general, especially in providing the choice of real time or turn based gameplay #indiedev
Pleased to start announcing the nominees for the 2025 Playdate Community Awards, starting with Accomplishment in Accessibility!

For every legitimately good bit of writing, cute or clever character moment, or cool alien event, there were 5 bad or dull ones.

Oh I finished Key Lime Sky today and thought it sucked. If this gets me kicked out of the Queer Leftist Artists and Shitposters part of the map, so be it. My jaw dropped when the main character revealed their age and they were older than me. YA-ass relationship drama. Sci fi stuff was okay.

Hey I've been being silly and only just checked in on the game. Has the defense been good or the offense bad

Casiopea by Casiopea: well that's just good stuff. Very weird to have so many instrumental albums grouped together at this point in the library but this is probably the best of them. A full meal of an album. Bass with a lot of chorus on it. Good balance of composition and improv.

Caravelle by Polo & Pan: this kind of stuff just feels good on my brain, especially when I have stuff to do. Their mix of strict rhythm and organic instruments really works for me, especially their take on voice filters. Less auto tune and more voice synth.

Caravanserai by Santana: it sucks so bad that he's good, but this whole band really hums. He's just so decisive in his playing in a way I love. This album is also mostly instrumental which was very pleasant to have this afternoon. I bet this absolutely crushes on vinyl, or while high, or both.

Can't Wake Up by Shakey Graves: I liked this one a lot more than the other one. Not entirely sure why but this one did have a few specific tracks that really stood out, Dining Alone in particular was right up my alley. Maybe I should go back to that other one just in case?

Can't Buy a Thrill by Steely Dan: this thing is almost Rumours dense with hits. I don't have a lot of experience with them outside of this album but it's one I can listen to pretty much endlessly and still enjoy it. Lots of stuff I'd like to draw from in my own work and aspire to in my playing.

Cannonball Adderley's Fiddler on the Roof by Cannonball Adderley: I'm not a serious jazzhead nor am I at all familiar with Fiddler on the Roof, but this album is great. Just good to have this kind of thing on hand. I feel like the jazz that makes it to me is usually well regarded so I assume this is

No one believes he'll fit with the system but when that level of talent falls to you, you just have to take it and figure it out later
