89% got the correct answer. Less than 25% of single-centre RCTs of critically ill patients claiming a mortality benefit were replicated in a multi-centre RCT, the actual number being 6%.

Very. Suspect it’s the causal secret sauce. Less compassion, less pain relief. Suspect also that compassion fatigue is significant in the workforce. Addressing that may have significant flow on affect on quality care more broadly. But how to address it?
