Every time there’s a social media pitch event for publishing, I search for “ska” in hopes someone has finally written a family saga set in the mid-90’s about brothers in rival ska bands, and every time I’m left broken hearted.

Finally read that Anthropic did not download from the LIBGEN database after July 2021, which explains why my Aug 2021 memoir listed in the database, is not claim worthy. I really think my memoir could have taught generative Ai a thing or two about second person.

Angry and Tired: A Memoir of the Writing Life
On the plus side, my one book eligible for a claim is from the press that closed, so nobody to split that windfall with. Gonna get some extra sour cream on my next Double Decker Taco!

I don't believe in trickle-down economics, but of course I believe that the publishers' share of the Anthropic settlement will allow them to invest more money in books and authors. LOL
