It would also feel so much more narratively satisfying with FFPS and the aftermath
Henry getting almost every last bit he could grab, but completely forgetting one single insignificant hard drive with a literal copy of his worst enemy
So close, yet forgot the one important piece

I think it makes way more sense and in character for Afton to purposely try and influence the Mimic to be like him after stealing from Edwin than just randomly possessing part of its code for some reason
literally just his “Plan B” incase he dies

I could easily ramble on more about this but I think this is enough till I’ve finished the game myself

As excited as I am for SOTM
I think the recent debates happening from just a few teasers and early gameplay has made me realize more fans are focused on being “right” than actually just wanting to figure stuff out for the enjoyment of the series
Still excited, just disappointed in fans

That’s possible too, the tie definitely makes it look similar to freddy than a frog like the original
Though it’s still quite the coincidence to have it look almost the same if that’s the case lol

I just had a thought, if the Guessthesketch posts are foreshadowing for SOTM like people theorize, and CC (possibly Dave) is likely connected to it
What if the parallels people made between the two were fully intentional? (Not in a canon way my “History Rhymes” way)

Just a headcannon, not what I actually think happens obviously

I have this fun headcanon that after Edwin abandoned the Mimic, William took it in as his own personal project to become a mirror of him, but when Henry joins FE, he forgets about it completely, making the Mimic feel abandoned and spiteful, being why goes rouge in SOTM

Like people will go full throttle on defending Scott on anything he does, but if you a single dev or small team working on your game, you’re constantly shamed for doing anything else besides working on it and when you do your still shit on…

I’ve noticed anytime something in the Fanverse is posted on a main project, people just say “Nobody cares about your game” and when it’s for a side project or any other life update it’s just “doing everything but working on the game”
Fnaf fans really just don’t care about Indie devs health huh?
