I wanna take a moment to showcase one of my absolute fave @alltrueoutlaw.bsky.social pages.

Pg 4 of "Death, 2 Ways" depicts Satterwhite doing investigative legwork. This was scripted loosely, I set the atmosphere and mood, threw out a few ideas and included some of the dialogue in the last 3 panels

I recently discovered that in this infamous panel, one of the best in the history of the medium, Adrian's arms are in the "five to midnight" position (with the Gordion Knot dilemma as a backdrop).

I know there was better representation to be found but, as a kid in the 90s, I didn't have means to find them.

Panel 1 the first caption reads "The only elder queer representation I remember growing up was the Birdcage." The illustration depicts Robin Williams and Nathan Lane with arrows pointing to them that say 44 and 39. The second caption reads "And the other representation I got to see was interesting." What follow is a grid of characters from various movies. The list is Hanks from Philadelphia, Duane Whitaker from Pulp Fiction, Jaye Davidson from the Crying Game, Greg Kinnear from As Good As it Gets, and the scene from the movie Heather where the father says "I love my dead gay son!"
