.NET STS releases are now supported for 2 years instead of 18 months starting with .NET 9 (the current STS). STS releases now go out-of-support on the same day as the previous LTS release. Upgrading to an STS release will no longer cause you to lose support!

@RickStrahl - probably old news for you but thought I'd share just in case - SQL Server 2025 CTP removes the installer block on Arm. Download the x64 and choose the basic install, it will install the x64 version without frills. This runs fine under emulation.

My favorite was when a customer came by our booth with a query about something and I was able to tell them yes, what they needed was available, and here’s a blog post on that very subject.

My kids had a favorite moment too - when I bought the bag of swag home and they got to pick.

Pictures from #MSBuild. The first one is with Arm Ambassadors @sinclairinat0r.com and Richard Omenyo, the second is with Jon Berry on CoreOS and Chris Lewis on App Assure and @sinclairinat0r.com.

#MSBuild was a blast, talking to developers about #Windows on #Arm and hearing their stories first hand never gets old. Also enjoyed co-presenting the session on Tips and Tricks to enhance Windows Arm64 performance.

Do tell us your colleagues’ and your solid plan to make that happen?

Very true, the year or longer gaps make it hard to even remember why I liked the show in the first place and the vibe is gone.

Yeah I dumped the other site.

“Alternative facts” are a thing now. I do wonder what the cult members will do when their dear leader is not their leader in 4 years, none of the others come remotely close to having this kind of grip on half the country.

I’ve severely curtailed my scrolling social media since November, too much distraction. I see a lot of calls to “resist” that mean nothing to me, not concrete enough. Writing to our representatives asking they oppose the ridiculous nominees is also pointless IMO given we’re in WA.

While I was out on vacation last month I missed the Arm Developer Program celebrating its second birthday. I'm incredibly proud to be associated with the program as an Arm ambassador helping bring developers into the Arm ecosystem.

System76's Thelio Astra is a quiet monster—it's by far the world's fastest Arm PC, and it starts at half the price of the Mac Pro.

This benefits the large providers doubly - first they don’t need to meet their he neutrality standard and they can charge content providers extra to not throttle them into oblivion. Unfortunately deregulation is the SOP on the republican side so it will only go downhill over the next 4 years.

So I get a notification (DM actually that I was added to someone’s block list because I’m following a potential troll). How do I tell who that troll is? Or is this a scam and the list creator are themselves a troll?

I was also bummed out to learn Perks+ dropped kids tuition as a reimbursable expense last week after I signed up and open enrollment closed. I logged a complaint about the bait and switch but nothing so far.
