I'm looking for resources - ideally books/papers - on the ergonomics of furniture design.

I'm specifically interested in the squishy stuff. Sofas, couches, beds, that kind of thing, not desk chairs, which seem to be well-studied.

I can't find much, any pointers would be very welcome. Thanks!

We're a few days in and pledges are healthy. Almost robust.

This is a call to our friends for amplification though. If you'd like to see what a Barnett-aligned immersive audio series, told over six weeks in late summer 2026 might look like, then, as they used to say:

RTs welcome..!

Bluesky, are there services out there for people who are needlephobic to get blood samples taken or to get vaccines? I have a very needlephobic teenager. Is there something similar to courses for fear of flying, or spiders? (Therapy is not hugely helping; we're talking full-blown panic attacks.)
