Prepping an early experimental color film process for 4k digital scanning. It’s from 1920 and the process was called Prizma Color. Two negatives were shot simultaneously, the positive element was then dyed on both sides of the film. One side was cyan, the other was red-orange.
Threading up the last reel to make a new 35mm print of THE WALKING DEAD starring Boris Karloff. This 1936 original nitrate negative took a lot of hands-on prep work and repair to successfully run on this machine. #filmpreservation
