Watching a music nerd react to listening to "Tank!" for the first time is bringing me sheer joy this morning.

I remember the first time (and subsequent times) I heard it getting so excited and just goosebumps all over. One of the best jazz pieces I've honestly ever heard.

TBH I've been crying a LOT this last week. I'm not depressed or particularly sad just an emotional raw nerve.

It's probably catching up from numbing my feels with alcohol. So, it's a good thing. I'm trying to embrace how emotional I am as a wonderful thing, even though sometimes it's overwhelming.

This reading above had me in tears yesterday. Basically the "future" card told me if I keep trying to selfishly get what I want I will lose more than it's worth. And the "advice" card told me to look at facts instead of emotionally jumping to conclusions. Not what I wanted but *needed* to hear.

I've been trying to put my finger on what I love about tarot so much. Do I believe it's communicating with spirits? No. Do I believe it foretells the future? Not really.

But I *do* believe it has this uncanny way of organizing and guiding my thoughts and calling me out on my bullshit. Truly.
