The fewest passing yards in a win since the #NFL merger, was when the #Rams beat the #49ers in 1971. Led by QB Jerry Rhome, the Rams had -18 passing yards and won 20-13. A defensive TD, and a long TD run helped to get the win. www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/19...

The 49ers have 0 rushing touchdowns after five games. The record since the merger to start the season without a rushing touchdown was the 1995 Jets led by by Boomer Esiason and Adrian Murrell who went their first 9 games without a rushing TD. #NFL

I was listening to @minakimes.bsky.social, & she brought up a player mentioning another QB as a “non-mobile quarterback”. She mentioned how it illustrated where we are today. Used to be we would point out the “mobile QB” outlier. Now, mobile is the standard, & we point out the “non-mobile” outlier.

I’m convinced Deshaun Watson’s problems with much of public perception we’re not the 26 alleged sexual assaults, the problem was he sucked at football. Browns fans were thrilled to get him. Only after he sucked did the allegations matter.
