Maybe the criteria should be wait until you’re not literally in first place while also holding the Lombardi trophy at the same time. An extremely high bar, but one the Eagles are above right now.

I’m a Mets fan. Pretty much the exact same thing as being a Bears fan, so I feel you on that. Our last World Series championship was a mere 9 months after the Bears last won a Lombardi. 40 years of misery since.
